Good tip, by the ear. I'll use this with my 3rd graders.

Is it just me or does the kid in the blue shirt travel each time? His dribble is with his right foot... then left right left...

I was taught, and teach, that when your defender is on your inside hip to use the "hip to ear" or "lock it in the pocket" technique. Keeping the ball on your outside hip as you pick up the ball and step to the rim then bringing the ball up to the ear then e tending for the layup. Do you teach this method at all?
