The BEST Drills MISSING In Your Basketball Shooting Workouts

If you've been with us for any length of time, you know that we're big believers in integrating game-based drills into workouts and practices.

Basically, these are drills that replicate game situations against live defenders.

We believe in order to succeed in games, you need to practice situations that closely represent the game.

So let's say you're on board with this idea like most coaches and players are...

There's one more problem.

What's the best drills to use?

What if you're a beginner? What if your skill level is quite advanced?

Are there drills and progressions that you should use?

Well, we have the answer for you.

In this next video, Nate Sanderson takes you through a great progression to use in small group workouts or team practices.

Attention Players! You need to set up a few workouts a week where you're competing against other players to include these types of drills. That's how you maximize your development.

The basic progression is this:

  • 1v1 - Offensive Advantage
  • 1v1 Live
  • 1v2 - Offense Advantage
  • 1v2 Live
  • 2v2 - Offense Advantage
  • 2v2 Live

While the video doesn't have a 2v3 drill in it, that is another progression that you could use.

Now, watch the video to see the entire thing!

These drills were taken from 50 Game-Based Drills with Nate Sanderson.

All the Best,

Joe Haefner
