I had a parent contact me this morning saying her family's business would be more than happy to sponsor our team, so I'm curious how you guys have gone about things like that. In our first season we are just going to have one team but my goal is to eventually grow this into a larger operation with multiple teams (boys and girls) across multiple grade levels. It is currently set up as a for profit LLC. So I'm looking for samples or advice on how to approach this letter to give to businesses as well as ideas on how we can turn their contributions into an advertising expense for them since it won't be a charitable donation. The easy thought would be to put their company name/logo on our warmup shirts or onto other team items we might have available for parents/families to purchase. Does anybody have a sample letter template they've used? Any advice and ideas are appreciated. |
