Wes Wilkinson Camps

Lead Instructor - Wes Wilkinson 


Wes Wilkinson is a former professional basketball player from Grand Island NE. He was a top 100 prospect and won two HS championships while at Grand Island. He then played for the University of Nebraska from 2002-06. By his senior year, Wes was nominated by his teammates and coaches as the team MVP and the Weightlifter of the Year. Award.  After graduating from Nebraska with his degree in Business Administration, he had a short stint with the Boston Celtics, Summer League, playing under Doc Rivers. After being released from the Celtics, Wes signed his first professional contract to play for Aalst, Belgium. In ten years of playing professionally overseas, Wes won six Championships and accumulated many personal accolades along the way. He was also recently inducted into the Grand Island High School Athletic Hall of Fame. 

Although Wes is retired from playing professionally, his passion for the game has not diminished. This naturally developed into “Wilkinson Hoops”.  Basketball has provided Wes a unique platform in which he can share his knowledge and personal experiences to help teach, guide and develop the next generation of players, both on and off the court.”
