Lead Instructor - Neil Watson

Neil Watson was born in Kansas City and played high school basketball at Sumner Academy. After HS, he went on to play at Toledo University and then transferred to University of Southern Mississippi where he played from 2011-2014.They went to the NIT quarterfinals once and the NCAA tournament twice while he was there. 

After college, Watson went on to play professionally overseas for 5 years in Iraq, Sweden, England, Scotland, Bahamas, British Virgin Islands, Austria, and Italy.

He is currently the Head Assistant Coach at Shawnee Mission West High School. Prior to this role he was a Head Coach at East High School, Assistant Head Coach at Park University, and an Assistant Coach at  Pembroke Hill. Watson has been assisting at Breakthrough Basketball Camps for many years before being promoted to a lead coach.
