Debbie Peterson Camps

Debbie Peterson has 18 years of coaching experience from youth through high school; her 5-year stint as varsity head coach of Coon Rapids High School in MN was the most successful span for the school in over 20 years. 

She was the director and coach of North Metro Aftershock AAU which grew from 2 teams to 11 and ranked top-10 in Minnesota girls AAU clubs from 2011-2017 and developed dozens of college players from NJCAA and NAIA to NCAA Division 1 levels.

She has been the lead girls basketball clinician for FCA regional sports camp in Minnesota since 2017, facilitating camps for girls across the Midwest every June.

Peterson works behind-the-scenes for Chris Oliver and Basketball Immersion, as well as writes a weekly newsletter distributed to thousands of coaches around the world.

She is the CEO of Practice Evaluation, providing education and consulting to help coaches develop practices that maximize time-on-task, player enjoyment, and transfer of learning to games.

She also taught physical education for 7 years covering grades K-12
