Carl Scales Camps

Coach Scales has been working Breakthrough Basketball camps for the past three years. Carl brings many years of experience including:

• Girls’ Varsity Assistant (2000-2005) - Hopkins High School, Hopkins MN.  Helped them to 4 consecutive state tournaments, including their first state championship in 2004

• Boys’ Varsity Assistant (2006-2012) - Eastview High School, Apple Valley MN.  Helped them to 4 section final games and 2 state tournament berths, 2010 and 2012

• 15 years of AAU/TRAVEL Basketball Head Coach:  Girls - MN Metro Stars & MN Fury.  Boys - MN Magic, Richfield Select

• Director of Summer Camps and Clinics for the Richfield Boys Basketball Association

Carl has coached with and trained numerous players who have gone on to play college basketball from the D1 level to NAIA.  He prides himself in providing sound instruction, his ability to communicate and convey the intricacies of the game, and create an energetic and challenging environment for basketball players to thrive and improve.
