Adam Hocking Camps

Lead Instructor - Adam Hocking

Adam Hocking was promoted to head coach of the Clarke University women's basketball in the spring of 2023 after eight years as assistant and head men's golf coach at Clarke. He helped guide the Pride to five-straight NAIA Tournament appearances, back-to-back quarterfinal trips in 2019 and 2021, and the NAIA Championship in 2023. Hocking was a named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Assistant Coach of the Year following the 2021-22 season.

He came to Clarke from Edgewood College, where he served as assistant women's basketball coach from 2013-2015. Prior to Edgewood, Hocking served as head varsity girls' basketball coach at Southwestern High School from 2011-2013. 

Hocking currently coaches with the Tri-State Frenzy Girls AAU Basketball Program, and he previously coached AAU Girls Basketball with Wisconsin Hoops Select, Iowa Team Fury and Wisconsin Swing (2010-2015). Hocking has been an offseason player development camp director with Midwest Elite Basketball since 2013.

Hocking played collegiate football and baseball at University of Dubuque (2010-2013) and at Iowa Wesleyan (2009-2010). Hocking earned his bachelor degree in health, wellness & recreation from the University of Dubuque and his masters degree in education from Edgewood College. A product of Galena High School, Hocking earned all-conference and all-area honors in baseball, basketball, football and track.
